"The battle must first be one in the spiritual before it is manifested in the physical," said Pastor Marcus Francis, pastor of the Roseau Christian Union Church and Bishop of the Christian Union Churches on the island as he addressed the believers present. Three solid nights of prayer was the plan and God showed up.
Every night we worshipped, listened to a short word and sought the face of God. Three pastors, a different one each night in the persons of Pastor Marcus Francis of the Roseau Christian Union Church, Pastor Hill of the New Day Church and our very own Pastor Dolph Valerie of the Morne Prosper Pentecostal Church each shared a word from the Lord.
Pastor of the Morne Prosper Pentecostal church, Pastor Dolph Valerie has a heart for the nation and issued the call to our assembly on the second night of our own set of prayer meetings for us to join the believers in the city the following night and for the rest of the week to, as he put it, "make a deposit in the heavenlies on behalf of our nation". The members responded wholeheartedly and each night two busloads of people left Morne Prosper to gather together with the saints in the city to make that deposit.
We are looking forward to what the Lord will do in our city and our nation as a results of the fervent prayer of His children. Here are pictures of that event. Enjoy and rejoice with us as God continues to unite his people to do His will in our nation, Dominica.
